About the Role

Title -Senior Nuclear Schedule Location – Waterford CT Pay Range 55-58 per hour 1 year contract with extension Per Diem avaialble   The Planet Group is seeking a Project Scheduler to support major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. This role will partner with EPC Contractor Schedulers to develop, maintain, and analyze the master project schedule to ensure all activities remain aligned with key project milestones. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction scheduling, Primavera software, and cross-functional collaboration across project teams. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor Schedulers to develop, implement, and maintain the master project schedule, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Integrate and manage owner project schedule submittals into the master schedule. Review and analyze critical path activities, lag relationships, constraints, and milestones. Identify, address, and resolve schedule issues with EPC Contractors. Track project-specific issues as they relate to the master schedule. Serve as the lead scheduling representative for major projects and act as the project scheduling subject matter expert. Communicate schedule risks, issues, and updates to project teams and management. Conduct site walks to verify and document contractor weekly schedule progress. Interface with supplier groups to provide scheduling data for change orders, bid comparisons, and schedule resolution. Perform detailed schedule variance analysis using Primavera Project Planner (P6). Work with EPC Contractors to develop and maintain project metrics including progress curves, labor histograms, and milestone tracking. Provide weekly and monthly schedule summary reports to Project Management, Site Project teams, and executive leadership. Train, coach, and educate project staff on scheduling tools and best practices. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in construction or project scheduling. Experience with Primavera Project Planner (P6) scheduling software. Knowledge of EPC project environments and construction scheduling principles. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with project teams, contractors, and leadership. Education Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a preferred degree.
