Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) - Night Shift - PRN Licensed Practical Nurse Licensed Practical Nurse Warm Springs, GA Travel Warm Springs, Georgia - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Med/Surg Rhino Medical is leading the charge actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with Med/Surg experience to join our dedicated team in Warm Springs, Georgia. Opportunity Specifics: - 13-Week contracts w/ possibilities of extensions - Night Shift (7:00pm - 7:00am); - Commitment: 3 shifts per week + alternating weekends Responsibilities: - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on scientific nursing principles. - Collaborate and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. - Prepare, administer (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV), and record prescribed medications, promptly reporting any adverse reactions. - Record patients' medical information and vital signs. - Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays. - Initiate corrective action when adverse symptomatology arises. - Deliver bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients. - Implement patient education plans as prescribed by physicians. - Perform dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts. - Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments. - Respond effectively to life-saving situations, following nursing standards and protocol. Requirements: - Active Georgia Licensed Practical/Vocational License. - Graduate of an accredited nursing program. - Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). - Must be able to commute daily to Warm Springs - 1+ years of recent Medical/Surgical experience preferred. - In-depth knowledge of best practices in medical-surgical nursing.
