Our Lady of Confidence School is a special education school that serves students with intellectual and multiple disabilities. The Main Campus is located in Willow Grove, PA.

The Warminster Campus is our high school program located within Archbishop Wood High School.

A teacher assistant should enjoy working with students and be committed to the philosophy and ideas of special education.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Supervise independent activities with small groups

· Work with individual students to review and reinforce lessons

· Supervise the transition of small groups of children to different rooms or activities

· Supervise lunchroom, outside activities, and field trips

· Assist students with personal care items, hygiene, toileting

· Work closely with other staff and therapists

· Help with student documentation

Working hours for assistants start promptly at 9:00 am and end at 2:00 pm and include one half hour lunch.

PA required clearances, Safe Environment Training and proof of education will be required before employment can begin.
