Night Shift Role — What You’ll Actually Be Doing
Overnight Coverage: Manage cross-cover and new admits for all inpatients under the hospitalist service
Rounding: No rounding overnight (day team rounds)
ICU: Covers call for all hospitalist-service inpatients (including ICU patients under service)
Support Model: Tele-hospitalist supports the in-house APP at night
Procedures / Vents: No procedures required | Vent management: Not required
Code Response: Code Blues are responded to by the ER team
