Year 3 Teacher - Spalding

About the role:

justteachers is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Spalding that is seeking an enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September. The role is initially until Christmas, with a strong likelihood of continuing on a longer-term basis for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about supporting pupils as they progress through Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, assessment and reporting, while creating an engaging learning environment that supports both academic achievement and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
• Take full responsibility for the progress, attainment and wellbeing of pupils within the class.
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
• Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support pupil development and achievement.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 2.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
• An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one as part of the pre-employment checks.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to provide satisfactory professional references
