Location: Phoenix, AZ

12 Months 

Work Mode: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days/week)

Experience Required: 5–8+ Years (3+ Years in Mainframe Utilities Development/Batch Processing)

 

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Utilities Developer to design, develop, and optimize utility programs supporting data processing, system operations, and batch workloads in IBM z/OS environments. The role focuses on developing reusable utilities, improving performance, automating processes, and ensuring efficient enterprise data handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer BMC DevX Code Pipeline (ISPW), BMC Topaz Workbench, IBM IDz v17.x, and CA-JCLCHECK.
  • Design, develop, and optimize mainframe utility programs.
  • Lead technical analysis and resolution of complex production issues.
  • Develop automation solutions and reusable utilities.
  • Utilize IBM and ISV utilities including DFSORT/Syncsort, IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IEBCOPY, and SORT.
  • Support enterprise batch processing and ETL workloads.
