We do this by working in agile ways across our digital product teams. There’s a strong support structure for architecture, engineering, design and program management, which helps us all do our very best work. And we break down our processes and thinking into modular parts – just like LEGO bricks – meaning we can build much more. Digital Technology teams Consumer Marketing Technology We create technology solutions that help the LEGO Group share digital bricks, models and experiences with colleagues and LEGO fans worldwide. Whether consumers engage with the brand or play with LEGO bricks digitally, our innovations make the experience awesome. We also provide tools that empower our colleagues to create incredible play experiences and support the LEGO Group in marketing the brand globally. Colleague Experience Technology We are the team that helps every other team be awesome. We create efficient and engaging digital experiences for everyone at the LEGO Group – from HR and financial platforms to digitalized workplace process and internal communications. Data Office Data powers better decision-making and is the fuel for Data Science and AI. In the Data Office team, we unlock the value from data, across the LEGO Group, through a cutting-edge data platform, robust data governance and boosting data fluency. We are also the Center of Excellence for Data Science and AI. Digital Portfolio & Delivery Office We empower and support our awesome teams in Digital Technology and the wider LEGO Group to deliver their best work. Our team provides insights into our digital goals, progress and value creation. We plan and execute the yearly digital portfolio planning and governance. Digital Security In this team, we keep the LEGO Group safe from cyber attacks. We assess risks, detect threats and create tools to help keep us one step ahead. As the LEGO Group becomes an increasingly digital organization, our work just keeps on getting more and more important. Infrastructure & Digital Platforms We provide the digital foundations that help the entire LEGO Group function at its best. In our colleagues’ hands or up in the cloud, our work supports everything from our offices and factories to our websites and the development of new products. Markets and Channels Technology Our job is to put LEGO magic into every aspect of shopping, either directly with the LEGO Group or indirectly via our partners. We innovate and explore to improve everything from in-store payment and online shopping to virtual showrooms. We also have product teams that provide tools and digital capability to support colleagues in building our business with our partners. eCommerce in China is unique, so we have a digital team there that comes up with one-of-a-kind solutions that are tailored to the Chinese market. Omnichannel, Manufacturing and Product Engineering Technology We create the digital platforms, tools and solutions that help the LEGO Group produce and distribute play experiences. Our work helps decide what and how much to produce, where and how to manufacture it in a sustainable way, and how best to get it to our retail partners and consumers.
