But don’t forget about your course – there are still things you can be doing to prepare for next year. Things to remember while on placement: You’re learning new skills every day, so make a note of projects you’ve helped with, meetings you’ve attended, or designs you’ve had a hand in. It'll all enhance your CV! If you're an international student, you should be contacting us on a regular basis. Contact your Placement Tutor as soon as you can to see if you need to arrange a visit. It’s up to you to sort this out – and it all counts towards your course.  Check your Aston University email regularly, as we’ll keep in touch with you throughout the year..  Useful Resources On-Placement Support We have a dedicated set of resources for students on placements, as well as a team to support you with any issues you may experience. Placement In Focus Competition Be in with a chance of winning some great prizes! To enter, all you have to do is send in photos and videos from your placement. CVs, Applications and Interviews It's the perfect time to update your CV with all the new things you're learning and experiencing. Make this a regular activity so nothing's forgotten!
