DVS is looking for an SAS Developer to support our team in Huntsville, AL. This position requires an active Secret clearance or is eligible to obtain a clearance. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in collecting, analyzing, and manipulating data to understand current projects and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya programs and applications Create solutions for data integration, distribution, and management Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and end users to identify requirements and develop solutions Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure accurate data Design and build SAS data warehouses and databases Develop and maintain process documentation Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Experience with SAS programming (DATA step and PROC SQL), SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Studio, Stored Process Web Application and SAS Macro Language Proficient in SQL and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Able to work independently and in a team environment Physical and Mental Qualifications: Be able to maintain awareness during scheduled working hours. Prolonged periods sitting or standing at desk and working on a computer (mouse and keyboard) Able to lift up to 15 pounds. Excellent verbal and written communication; good command of the English language Execute tasks independently and work as a team. Learns and memories routine tasks.
