How we help the city

Our Council Plan for 2023-2027 sets out our vision for Brighton & Hove. We are working together to be a city to be proud of, a healthy, fair and inclusive city where everyone thrives.

Whether you live, work, study or just visit, our vision is that Brighton & Hove can be a:

Our directorates

Our directorates work as part of our ‘One Council’ approach, with 700 services working together to deliver a Better Brighton & Hove For All.

Housing, Care and Wellbeing

This includes services such as Housing Management, Housing Need and Supply, Adult Social Care, Public Health and more.

Corporate Services

This includes services such as Policy and Communication, Legal and Democratic Services, Human Resources, Finance and more.

Families Children and Learning

This includes services such as Education and Skills, Children's Safeguarding and Care, Health SEN and Disabilities, Library Services and more.

City Services

This includes services such as City Transport, Culture, Tourism and Sport, City Development and Regeneration, City Environment and more.
