Job Duties:
- Visually inspects all container equipment to ensure it meets food-grade expectations before loads
- Understands how to read the production order/Load sheet to verify proper labeling and markings
- Visually inspects all finished goods as they’re being loaded and ensures that shipping photos, policy, and procedures will be documented and followed.
- Works within the ERP system (Nutware) by actively using a scanner to map and organize all packed goods inventory.
- Works within the ERP system (Nutware) by actively using a scanner to monitor packed inventory & fumigation as required to ensure the integrity of stored products
- Works daily to maintain warehouses and staging areas to prevent cross-contamination and or pest/rodent activity
- Organizes inventory and occasionally performs minor equipment maintenance.
- Takes manual inventories and completes documentation related to the company’s safety and sanitation programs.
- Supervises employees during fumigation activities and assists employeewith training training. Enforces all safety, sanitation and GMP guidelines.
- Will also develop and maintain professional relationships with external vendors.
- Responsible for upholding all Food Safety, Quality, & People Safety policies and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to work inside/ outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
- Frequently exposed to excessive noise levels.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Multitask, work alone and in groups
- Problem-Solving
Pay: $22 - $27/HR DOE
Shift: Varies - Monday – Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm plus OT as needed.
