As a care home nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing expert care to support and manage the complex medical conditions of our nursing care residents. You will work closely with our care teams to create a comfortable and familiar environment for our residents, ensuring that they receive the best possible individualised care every day.
Making a Difference
Your expertise will be highly valued as you assess, plan, and deliver care to meet the individual needs of each resident.
You will be responsible for administering medication, keeping track of all nutrition and fluids, managing wound care, monitoring vital signs and providing support for activities of daily living.
You will also play an essential role in creating care plans and liaising with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive holistic, individualised care.

Use Your Nurse Skills
Your skills learned to date will be helpful to you in a care home setting, supporting residents with a wide range of medical conditions and nursing needs.
Using your clinical knowledge to communicate effectively with GP surgeries and out-of-hours services you will be able to support our residents at all stages of their later life.
To work as part of our nursing team, you’ll need excellent clinical knowledge and judgement, along with experience in promoting best practices in wound management, nutrition, tissue viability, end-of-life care, and other essential clinical interventions.
