If you are interested in this Infusion (Oncology) Registered Nurse (RN) position, please contact Lindsay at 5867107959 or LKOPASZ@ALINESTAFFING.com Infusion (Oncology) Registered Nurse (RN) Compensation The pay for this position is $45.00 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Infusion (Oncology) Registered Nurse (RN) Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday, clinic hours based on patient scheduling and business needs Infusion (Oncology) Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material Prepare and administer therapies under physician supervision Administer Chemotherapy, IVIG, Iron, Immunotherapy, and Hydration therapies Ensure proper medication administration including correct dosage, route, timing, and technique Facilitate dose modifications through patient assessments, lab review, and physician consultation Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central line catheter devices Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatments provided Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care plans Adhere to company compliance standards, Code of Ethics, and Business Standards Infusion (Oncology) Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred Active RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing Minimum 1 year of infusion nursing experience treating chronic illness Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Ability to work in an oncology/hematology clinic environment Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills High School Diploma or GED Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Infusion (Oncology) Registered Nurse (RN) Preferred Qualifications Chemotherapy infusion experience highly preferred Previous oncology or hematology clinic experience preferred Experience with central line care and implanted ports Knowledge of infusion reimbursement and authorization processes If you think this Infusion (Oncology) Registered Nurse (RN) position is a good fit for you, please reach out to me - feel free to call, e-mail, or apply to this posting!
