Requirements

• Active North Carolina medical license with North Carolina address
• NC DEA registration
• Board Certification in Surgery
• NPI number
• Credentialed with Medicare and Medicaid, enrolled with PECOS
• No recent or open malpractice or disciplinary cases; malpractice insurance must be included in daily rate
• Must be a surgeon with current credentials and a clean background (highly preferred)
• Provider must be within 20 minutes of the hospital during assignment
