About the Role
AI is being trained to understand some of the most complex and consequential topics in environmental science — and it needs real experts to get it right. We're looking for soil and water conservation scientists to review, evaluate, and improve AI-generated content related to sustainable land and water management.
Your expertise will directly influence how AI systems reason about erosion control, watershed health, soil science, and conservation planning — helping ensure these tools are scientifically sound and practically useful.

- Location: Fully Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated soil and water conservation scenarios for scientific accuracy and real-world applicability
- Evaluate content related to erosion control, watershed management, soil health, and conservation planning
- Identify flawed assumptions, impractical recommendations, or gaps in scientific reasoning
- Provide clear, structured feedback to improve the rigor and clarity of AI outputs
- Work independently and asynchronously — on your schedule, at your pace
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in soil science, hydrology, conservation planning, or a closely related field
- Strong foundational knowledge of soil processes, water systems, and land management techniques
- Able to critically assess applied environmental science reasoning and identify where AI gets it wrong
