Job Description
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely to patients.
- Provide expert advice and healthcare support to customers and patients.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory pharmacy guidelines.
- Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain inventory.
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff to deliver excellent service.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient consultations.
- Identify opportunities to improve pharmacy services and implement enhancements.
- Promote health and wellbeing initiatives within the local community.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
- A recognised qualification in pharmacy and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and healthcare regulations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
