<p>This is a <strong>large, multi‑branch small animal practice</strong> based in <strong>South Manchester</strong>, supported by a central Tier‑3 standard hospital and an in‑house referral team. The group is recognised for delivering high clinical standards, with extensive diagnostic and surgical capabilities available across its sites.</p>
<p>The hospital is equipped with a wide range of advanced technologies, including <strong>CT, MRI (via visiting service), Doppler echocardiography, endoscopy (rigid and flexible), digital radiography, dental imaging, ultrasound, electrocautery, laparoscopy, and fluoroscopy</strong>. A dedicated out‑of‑hours team is based onsite, ensuring continuity of care without the need to transfer patients to external providers.</p>

<h2><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></h2>

<li>Deliver <strong>first‑opinion consultations, preventative care, and medical assessments</strong> across a varied caseload.
<li>Perform <strong>routine surgical procedures</strong>, with support available for progression into more advanced skills.
<li>Manage <strong>occasional sole‑charge shifts</strong>, applying sound decision‑making and evidence‑based practice.
<li>Utilise the group’s <strong>advanced diagnostic facilities</strong> for thorough case work‑ups.
<li>Communicate clearly with clients, providing well‑structured treatment plans and follow‑up guidance.
<li>Collaborate with veterinary surgeons, nurses, and the 24‑hour clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity.
<li>Participate in a rota including <strong>weekends on a rotating basis</strong> and occasional late evening shifts, all supported by an in‑house OOH team.
<li>Work a <strong>4‑day week</strong> within a full‑time contract.
