KS1 & KS2 Teaching Assistant – Bristol Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Start as soon as possible Position: Full-time (Monday–Friday) Location: Bristol Looking to make a real difference every single day? We are working with friendly and inclusive primary schools across Bristol that are seeking a dedicated KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the school. You will work closely with class teachers to bring learning to life, provide targeted support where it’s needed most, and help create a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. If you are proactive, caring, and ready to roll up your sleeves, this could be a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding role. What you’ll be doing: • Supporting pupils across KS1 or KS2 with daily classroom activities • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management • Working with small groups to reinforce learning in Phonics, Reading, Writing, and Maths • Providing 1:1 support where needed to help pupils remain engaged • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a supportive classroom environment • Helping children develop confidence, independence, and strong social skills What we’re looking for: The ideal candidate will be: • Experienced in a primary school setting (desirable but not essential) • Proactive, reliable, and confident working with children • A clear communicator who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff • Adaptable and able to respond effectively in a busy classroom environment • Someone with a genuine interest in education and supporting children’s development Why work with Protocol Education?
