About the Role
As a Trading Specialist you will monitor trading activity across asset classes during the overnight, extended hours, and regular sessions. You'll monitor the health of our FIX trading lines and liaise with external venues and market centers to take swift action to resolve issues that may affect our order flow. You will manage risk, ensure deadlines and service levels are met, and comply with Firm policy, SEC rules, and FINRA regulations. Additionally, you will interact with other Robinhood Teams such as Securities Lending Derivatives, Advisory, P&S, Regulatory Reporting, Compliance, Customer Experience, Engineering, and with external Market Centers (Venues).
This role is based in our Chicago,IL and New York, NY, Menlo Park, CA, and Westlake, TX office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

3:30AM-12:30PM Wednesday-Sunday
12:30PM-8:30PM Thursday and Friday 10AM-10PM Saturday and Sunday
9:00 AM – 8:00 PM ET, Friday–Monday
10:00 PM – 9:00 AM ET, Friday–Monday
What you’ll do
Execution of Written Supervisory Procedures to comply with all SEC and FINRA rules
Order entry and trade execution of equity and option orders
Resolution of trade inquiries
Monitor trading activity, firm accounts, corporate actions, and identify and resolve problems associated with trades
Monitor health of routing systems and Venues, and interact with Venues as required
Coordinate response for system, trading, and communications (SEV) related issues.
Engage with cross functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance) on product development and problem solving.
What you bring
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years working in a broker-dealer operations/trading environment
FINRA Series 7 required
FINRA 57 license required
Strong understanding of brokerage operation functions
Self-starter with ability to work independently
Strong communication and analytical skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to a changing environment
