About the Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager & Scrum Master to lead large-scale financial services technology programs, focused on cloud migration, SaaS delivery, regulatory compliance, and enterprise data platforms. (Hybrid, Los Angeles 90071, 3 days in office)
Must Have skills
15+ years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in financial services technology programs.
Expertise managing Agile (SAFe/Scrum) and Waterfall projects simultaneously in enterprise environments.
Proven experience delivering cloud migration programs using AWS and/or Azure at scale, including $10M+ budget programs.
Strong domain knowledge in Asset Management, Wealth Management, Investment Banking, Commercial or Retail Banking, or Insurance.
Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Clarity PPM, MS Project, and MS SharePoint.
Familiarity with financial platforms including Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, and Capital IQ.
Experience managing regulatory compliance initiatives, enterprise security requirements, penetration testing, KYC, and data governance.
Nice to have skills
CFA designation or progress toward CFA.
MBA from a top-tier business school.
Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager with backlog ownership and stakeholder alignment.
Exposure to SaaS delivery platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), PEGA applications, or similar enterprise platforms.
Working knowledge of SQL, data modeling, business intelligence tools, and experience managing cross-border programs in the US and Canada.
Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, financial data warehouses, and investment systems.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cross-functional technology and finance programs using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Drive cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and SaaS platform delivery while managing budgets, sprint execution, and milestone delivery.
Serve as Scrum Master for multiple agile teams, facilitating ceremonies, coaching teams, and promoting continuous improvement.
Partner with business, architecture, infrastructure, QA, DevOps, and security teams to align requirements and delivery plans.
Manage risks, governance, executive reporting, audit readiness, and compliance requirements across enterprise initiatives.
Support enterprise data, investment, and financial systems implementations in regulated financial environments.
