About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK provider of specialist home adaptation and mobility solutions for an experienced CAD Technician to join their busy design team on a 3-month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong ArtiCAD experience who enjoys creating high-quality bathroom designs and working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. ArtiCAD will be your primary software and main day-to-day responsibility, supporting the sales team by producing professional 3D bathroom designs and installation plans.

What You'll Be Doing

As the CAD Technician, your main focus will be producing accurate, high-quality bathroom designs using ArtiCAD. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing professional 3D bathroom designs and visualisations using ArtiCAD
  • Creating accurate layouts and installation plans that meet customer requirements
  • Managing CAD design requests through the internal workflow system
  • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Working closely with the sales team to deliver designs within agreed timescales
  • Producing design revisions quickly and accurately
  • Identifying and resolving technical drawing issues
  • Preparing customer CAD packs for distribution
  • Supporting wider CAD projects and departmental improvements
  • Managing multiple projects while maintaining excellent attention to detail
What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 2 years' experience using CAD software
  • Experience using ArtiCAD (highly desirable and a significant advantage)
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and design principles
  • Excellent IT and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
  • Positive, flexible and proactive approach
Working Pattern

This role operates on a rotating two-week shift pattern.

Week One

  • Monday to Friday
  • 11:00am - 8:00pm
  • One-hour unpaid lunch

Week Two

  • Tuesday to Saturday
  • Tuesday to Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • One-hour unpaid lunch
  • Saturday: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Successful candidates will attend the company's Droitwich office for initial training and occasional team meetings.
