About the role: Justteachers is seeking a dedicated SEMH KS4 Teacher to join a supportive school in the Wakefield area on a long-term basis. This full-time role is due to commence in September , with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides a structured and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, helping them re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging KS4 lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH needs Creating a positive and consistent learning environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour Working closely with pastoral teams, SEND staff, and external professionals to support pupils’ academic and personal development Pre-requisites: Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) Experience teaching KS4 pupils, ideally within an SEMH or SEND setting A strong understanding of behaviour management, trauma-informed practice, and adaptive teaching strategies Two education or school-based references
