Senior Engineer, Construction - Fabrication Closing Date 31 August, 2026 Location UAE - Abu Dhabi Job Family Project Management Type of Contract Fixed Term Contract Full/Part time Full Time Region (current) Middle East Ref No 16159 Senior Engineer, Construction - Fabrication Penspen is hiring experienced Senior Construction Engineer - Fabrication Site based in Abu Dhabi with proven experience in the oil and gas industry. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising fabrication activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities for oil and gas projects. Review engineering drawings, fabrication procedures, and project specifications. Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and industry standards. Monitor project progress, productivity, and resource utilization. Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and site teams. Resolve technical and construction issues during fabrication. Prepare progress reports and support project planning and scheduling. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline is mandatory 15+ years of relevant experience in the oil & gas sector 5 years in GCC region 5 years of experience in similar position Extensive experience in Oil & Gas pipeline construction projects Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, structural steel, piping, and applicable codes/standards. Experience in EPC/EPCM project environments Proven leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills #LI-JM1
