Responsibilities include supervising IE operators and technicians, offering guidance, and enhancing their skills and performance.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black;letter-spacing: .2pt;border: none windowtext 1.0pt;padding: 0in">Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities of the Industrial Engineer:</span></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Oversee and execute lean initiatives within the facility such as 5S, standard work, visual management, pace to takt, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Lead the cultivation of facility Leads, Supervisors, and Managers&#8217; professional growth by driving a CI culture</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Manage the standardization and enhancement of manufacturing processes, sequences, layouts, and flow.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Direct and monitor continuous improvement activities across all departments, including manufacturing and office areas.</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Develop detailed strategies, oversee project progress, and ensure the timely completion of improvement projects and cost savings objectives</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Design, plan, and develop layouts, workflow, and safety measures to maximize plant and manufacturing facility utilization</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Responsible for all equipment capital expenditures, from design to implementation</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership Team to create a continuous improvement roadmap for optimal performance</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Lead the development of capacity models, production planning tools, and time standards</span></li> </ul> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;color: black;letter-spacing: .2pt;border: none windowtext 1.0pt;padding: 0in">Education &amp; Experience Requirements of Industrial Engineer:</span></strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree in Engineering &#8211; Industrial Engineering required</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Minimum 5 years of Industrial Engineering experience</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Proficiency in industrial services data collection, root cause analysis, and practical problem-solving</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Experience in applying throughput improvement processes</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Knowledge of lean principles</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills</span></li> <li class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif">Self-driven with the ability to prioritize and focus on critical tasks</span></li> </ul>
