About the Role


We are currently representing a leading construction consultancy in their search for a strategic Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic and driven Residential team. This role will support the delivery of large-scale and complex remediation projects.

**What does the role involve?**

This position sits within the Residential and Compliance team and is responsible for leading large-scale construction projects, managing them autonomously from inception through to completion. The role offers a hybrid working environment and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing business.

**Responsibilities**

* Manage projects of varying size and complexity, undertaking day-to-day project management activities, while also providing senior support and representation where required
* Support other senior team members in project delivery and internal processes
* Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and guidelines
* Support senior leadership with resource planning, fee management, and reporting
* Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact where necessary
* Conduct lessons learned reviews and implement improvements for future projects
* Ensure internal systems are maintained and up to date, including financial and resource tracking, and timely invoice approvals
* Support conflict resolution processes
* Contribute to internal governance, including reviewing reports and acting as a senior signatory on approved documentation
* Ensure compliance with client governance processes and gateway requirements
* Support the preparation of fee bids alongside senior stakeholders and bid teams
* Mentor and train junior staff, contributing to CPD activities
* Work collaboratively with clients and external consultants
* Uphold Health & Safety standards and ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, escalating any issues as required
* Contribute to improving social and environmental impact initiatives

**Requirements**

* Extensive experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
* Ideally Chartered status with post-qualification experience
* Proven ability to deliver large and complex projects across the full lifecycle
* Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
* Strong leadership and management capability
* Experience managing project fees and supporting fee bids
* Ability to generate new business through effective client relationship management
* Excellent knowledge of CDM regulations and construction Health & Safety
