About the role: Justteachers is seeking a dedicated SEND Support Worker to join a supportive school in the Harrogate area on a long-term basis. This full-time role is due to commence ASAP , with shortlisting currently underway. The school provides an inclusive and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on supporting pupils with special educational needs and helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed both academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: Providing tailored support to pupils with SEND on a one‑to‑one or small‑group basis Assisting pupils with their learning, communication, and social development throughout the school day Working collaboratively with teachers, SEND staff, and external professionals to support individual learning plans Pre-requisites: Relevant experience working in a SEND, support worker, or education-based role Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs A good understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practice Two education or school‑based references
