CNC Operator – Full Time

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Operator / CNC Fabrication Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. The Role

As a CNC Operator, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of CNC machinery and fabrication processes. You’ll be responsible for setting, operating, and maintaining equipment, ensuring production runs smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities include:

• Setting and operating CNC machines, including punch and press brake equipment
• Working with machinery such as Trupunch and Trumpf Press Brakes
• Folding and cutting parts in line with technical drawings
• MIG welding mild steel products to specification
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance (cleaning, sharpening, replacing parts, etc.)
• Managing materials and stock (sheet metal, pallets, etc.)
• Supporting goods-in processes, including checking deliveries for quality and quantity
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Assisting with broader production tasks where required, including mechanical fitting
• Learning and understanding the full production process

What We’re Looking For

We’re keen to speak with candidates who bring both technical ability and the right attitude.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience setting and running CNC machines
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with folding machines (advantageous)
• MIG welding experience (mild steel)
• A proactive and self-motivated approach
• Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support others
• A commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards
• Forklift training (desirable but not essential)
