Key duties and responsibilities:
Top Aces is seeking a Base Material Coordinator Lead to oversee and support the Base Material Coordinators (BMC) teams at our BRS and YBG locations, as well as to monitor and address customer requests related to operations, maintenance, and repair centers. The BMC Lead will be responsible for the distribution of parts and services to TA operations. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing a cyclical inventory plan to ensure coverage of our operations. They will be responsible for monitoring compliance with work instructions carried out by the BMCs.
Key responsibilities include meeting inventory targets, managing tracking systems, and liaising with other departments. The successful candidate will propose recommendations and plans to ensure the accuracy of inventory in the warehouse and store by ensuring compliance with tasks performed by the BMCs. Candidates with experience in inventory control in a multi-site environment are encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a team of BMCs across multiple sites and deployments
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for work instructions. Develop a training plan with the BMCs to ensure consistency in work methods
- Ensures the BMC team’s smooth operation regarding inventory receipts and shipments for recording deliveries and shipments.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate issues and shortages.
- Manages employee schedules, planning and organizing a schedule tailored to the needs of bases and deployments.
- Ensures deliveries and shipments to support operations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Oversees the transfer of parts between bases, prepares purchase requests, and plans requests for recertification.
- Contributes to supply chain objectives to meet targets and resolve staffing issues.
- Builds strong relationships with internal and external clients.
- Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve logistics and procurement procedures.
- Participates in demand forecasting and data analysis to anticipate future procurement and logistics needs.
- Assists in the recruitment and training of new BMCs.
- Contributes to team efforts by performing BMC tasks.
- Performs related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures and ensures that the BMC team complies with these requirements.

Required education and/or experience:
- DEC, diploma or certification in a related field
- Experience in the aviation industry is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with inventory management software and forecasting strategies
- Experience in data tracking and analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients
- Proficiency in computer tools (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to speak, listen, and express oneself clearly
- Occasional travel to the company’s operating sites may be required
Supervisory, Training, and Advisory Responsibilities:
- Establishes and manages relationships with all key stakeholders (local/regional clients, management, local staff)
- Acts as a trusted advisor and maintains relationships with senior leadership to understand the company’s needs; ensures cost-effective and agile service delivery

Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Work in compliance with health and safety laws and regulations

- Immediately report hazards (dangerous situations or activities) to the supervisor
Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:
Position requires Controlled Goods Clearance and Level 2 Secret Clearance
