Join our dedicated team as a Senior Social Worker with the Children’s Community Health and Development Team (CCHDT) in Bradford. As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead and support a team of social workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality social work services while promoting the well-being of children and their families. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and develop tailored intervention plans. Providing expert guidance and supervision to junior social workers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring best practices. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate care and support services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Participating in case reviews, contributing to the development of policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and registration with Social Work England. Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and professionals. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload effectively. Proficient in using IT systems for record-keeping and reporting.
