JOB SUMMARY: Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and machinery while also completing routine custodial and cleaning tasks.

• Perform routine inspections, monitoring, and troubleshooting of facility equipment and machinery to identify issues, ensure safe operation, and complete scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Oversee outside contractor installations, maintenance, and repairs involving facility equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine facility maintenance, including lighting replacements, filter changes, and other scheduled upkeep tasks.
• Perform basic plumbing repairs (e.g., unclogging drains, repairing leaks).
• Conduct carpentry, painting, and other general building maintenance tasks as needed.
• Complete custodial and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and restroom upkeep.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies, including paper products, hand soap, and trash liners.
• Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and ensure proper disposal in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders.
• Document maintenance activities, inspection findings, and completed repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance schedules.
• Operate forklifts as necessary.
• Assist with facility inspections for safety, compliance, and operational readiness.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
• Performs additional duties as assigned to support facility operations.
SUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED: This position has no supervisory responsibility; the Multi-Site Warehouse Manager supervises all functions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or tools and regularly reach with hands and arms, including overhead as needed; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to:
• Work near moving mechanical parts.
• Work with electrical equipment and be exposed to the risk of electrical shock.
• Work in high or precarious places.
• Be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
• Work both inside and outside in heat, cold, wet, and dry conditions.
• Frequently use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate’s degree, or technical degree.
• Three years related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• A working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and Outlook (email).
• Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the preventive maintenance and repair of the facilities, equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Four years’ experience painting and performing equipment and machinery maintenance.
• Experience performing facility repairs in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
