The Role
You will own the end-to-end UX for a dual-ecosystem product, balancing consumer-facing mobile apps for EV drivers with a complex B2B SaaS platform. This isn't just about moving pixels; the challenge lies in unifying these two distinct experiences while co-owning the mobile layer of an emerging, governed design system.
About the Product
The platform is a global EV charging network management system that bridges the gap between hardware infrastructure and the end-user. It facilitates large-scale fleet operations via data-heavy dashboards while simultaneously powering white-label mobile applications for drivers to locate, manage, and pay for charging sessions across various hardware vendors.
Technology Stack: Design operations are centered in Figma, leveraging advanced features like variables and auto-layout for high-fidelity developer handoff. The workflow is modern and AI-integrated, utilizing tools like Claude for process efficiency, all managed within a structured Jira environment and guided by a formal design system governance committee.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end UX strategy for white-label mobile apps (iOS/Android) and a high-density B2B web platform
- Architect and build production-ready components for the mobile layer of the design system, including tokens and patterns
- Translate complex enterprise workflows into intuitive, simple interfaces for network operators managing global fleets
- Partner directly with Product Managers to define user scenarios and priorities, influencing the "what" and "why" before the "how"
- Drive the visual language evolution to ensure cohesion across B2B and B2C surfaces without losing audience-specific utility
What We Expect
Must-have
- 3+ years of UX/UI experience spanning both mobile apps and complex B2B/enterprise web tools
- Proven track record in design systems—contributing to or owning libraries, tokens, and documentation
- Figma expertise, including variables, prototyping, and structured developer handoff
- Advanced: English and the ability to articulate design rationale in an async, remote environment
Nice-to-have
- Experience in EV, energy, IoT, or sustainability domains
- Hands-on experience integrating AI tools (Claude, Midjourney) into the design workflow
Why This Role Is Worth Your Time
- Unique Product Scope: You’ll work on a B2B2C hybrid, managing the rare combination of high-utility SaaS dashboards and consumer-facing mobile apps simultaneously
- Design Transformation: The product has 12 years of market maturity but is currently undergoing a total design transformation, offering the stability of a scale-up with the creative impact of a rebuild
- Advanced Workflow: This is a place where AI design workflows are actually in production, not just used as recruitment buzzwords
- True Ownership: With a formal governance committee in place, your contributions to the design system will have a permanent, structured impact on the product's global scaling
