About the Role
<h3><strong>About the Role:</strong></h3>
<p>We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide Project/Construction Management (PM/CM) services as an Owner’s Representative for public-sector construction projects. This role will support essential services facilities, including fire and police stations, through the Design-Build delivery method.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing public-sector vertical construction projects and serving as a client-facing leader throughout planning, design, and construction phases.</p>
<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary Construction Manager and Owner’s Representative for assigned projects</li>
<li>Partner with city departments to provide PM/CM support and project oversight</li>
<li>Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk throughout the project lifecycle</li>
<li>Review contracts, drawings, specifications, estimates, and project documentation for compliance</li>
<li>Lead project meetings and maintain accurate records, reports, and action items</li>
<li>Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project success</li>
<li>Monitor design and construction progress and provide recommendations and status updates</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety, contractual, and performance requirements</li>
<li>Support project logistics, staffing, scheduling, and resource planning</li>
<li>Maintain strong client relationships and resolve issues effectively to ensure satisfaction</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred</li>
<li>10+ years of experience in vertical construction projects</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager</li>
<li>Experience managing public-sector construction projects</li>
<li>Prior experience with Civic, Municipal, Justice, Education, or other public facilities projects</li>
<li>Experience with Design-Build project delivery</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Required Skills:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong understanding of project planning, design management, construction estimating, scheduling, cost controls, contracts, and project delivery methods</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Strong stakeholder and client management abilities</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite</li>
<li>Experience with project management and construction documentation systems</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience with Primavera P6 and Procore</li>
<li>DBIA certification</li>
<li>Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record </li>
</ul>

Base Salary - USD $150,000 to $180,000
