Primary SEN Teacher

Contract: Full-time, temporary (until the end of the 2025/26 academic year)
Pay: Paid to scale via Teaching Personnel (MPS/UPS + SEN allowance where applicable)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive school in Doncaster to recruit a Primary SEN Teacher for a long-term position starting 23rd February, continuing through to the end of the 2025/26 academic year.
This role involves teaching pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, communication needs, and moderate learning difficulties, within a primary setting. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons and creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
You will work closely with experienced support staff, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive high-quality, personalised support.
Deliver high-quality teaching tailored to pupils’ individual needs
Plan and adapt lessons to support engagement and progress
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Contribute to EHCP targets, reviews, and progress monitoring
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience working with children with SEN (primary or specialist settings)
Demonstrates strong behaviour management and inclusive practice
Is patient, resilient, and passionate about SEN education
Can commit to a long-term role through the academic year
