The organization is seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide the delivery of integrated mental health services for children and adolescents under New York State’s CFTSS model. This leadership role is central to ensuring comprehensive, family-focused, and culturally responsive care in both school-based and community settings.</p>
<p>Title: LCSW Team Leader<br />
Location: Brooklyn NY<br />
Salary: $105,000 to $110,000</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities for LCSW Team Leader:<br />
• Provide direct supervision and leadership to a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, peer specialists, and support staff.<br />
• Coordinate and oversee school-based interventions, such as individual counseling, group sessions, and crisis response.<br />
• Deliver clinical oversight to staff offering CFTSS services (including OLP, PSR, CPST, and Family Peer Support), ensuring adherence to best practices.<br />
• Act as a bridge between families, schools, community organizations, and health systems to strengthen collaboration and service continuity.<br />
• Facilitate regular team meetings and clinical case conferences to support staff and uphold high standards of care.<br />
• Monitor service outcomes, track progress, and contribute to program evaluation and ongoing improvement initiatives.<br />
• Maintain a small caseload, offering direct clinical services in both educational and community environments when needed.<br />
• Foster strong family involvement, encouraging advocacy and ensuring services remain strengths-based and trauma-informed.<br />
• Participate in after-hours call rotation to provide leadership and crisis support.<br />
• Mentor, coach, and provide professional development opportunities for team members while ensuring compliance with NYS Office of Mental Health standards.</p>
<p>Qualifications for LCSW Team Leader<br />
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.<br />
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing mental health services to children and families.<br />
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.<br />
• Background in school-based or community-based mental health strongly preferred.<br />
• Experience supporting adolescents and young adults with serious mental health needs.<br />
• Familiarity with CFTSS and related service models is a plus.</p>
