About the Role
<p><strong>Warehouse Team Leader</strong></p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Huddersfield</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>£27,000 - £30,000 + Discretionary monthly and annual bonus</p><p><strong>Hours: </strong>Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm </p><p><strong>Contract Type: </strong>Permanent</p><p>Stafflex are recruiting for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to support a busy and detail-driven operation. This role sits closely in support of the Operations Manager and plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse activities.</p><p>This is a role that will involve leading from the front, working across all areas of the warehouse and setting the standard for accuracy, organisation and teamwork. </p><p>The business operates in a sector where precision is key. Attention to detail and a sense of responsibility are essential. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, motivate and support a small warehouse team to achieve daily targets</li><li>Work across all areas including goods-in, picking, packing and despatch</li><li>Allocating tasks and monitoring workflow to maintain efficiency and accuracy</li><li>Operating Counterbalance Forklift Truck when required</li><li>Maintaining accurate stock control using internal systems</li><li>Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies and errors</li><li>Ensuring all goods are handled and dispatched correctly</li><li>Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards</li><li>Training and developing team members</li><li>Continuously looking for ways to improve processes and reduce errors</li></ul><p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Previous warehouse experience in a Supervision or Team Leader role</li><li>Valid forklift license (Counterbalance)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy</li><li>Experience with stock control/warehouse systems (Sage preferred)</li><li>Hands-on, flexible approach</li><li>Strong organisation and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines</li><li>Good communication skills</li></ul><p>This role is a great opportunity to join a company that invests in ongoing training and development, and rewards staff with a discretionary monthly bonus that is based on the team performance.
