What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in oil and gas automation, instrumentation, or controls
- Deep knowledge of oil and gas facility process equipment and automation system design
- Advanced expertise with PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, EFMs, and POCs (such as Allen-Bradley, Totalflow, ROC, Coriolis)
- Proficiency in digital and analog I/O, loop commissioning, and facility startup procedures
- Skilled in troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of temperature, pressure, level, and flow instrumentation
- Experience with pneumatic instrumentation calibration and maintenance
- Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership capabilities
- Knowledge of automation host systems and industrial control networks
- Proficiency with test equipment like Fluke 789, HART Communicator, and radio communication software
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and commitment to maintaining safety certifications
Nice to Have:
- Design review experience and familiarity with Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) and Process Hazard Review (PHR)
- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on safety and process improvements
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical degree or equivalent in instrumentation, controls, or related field
- 3+ years of direct experience in oil and gas automation projects
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work on a 14/14 rotation schedule in Kermit, TX
- Ability to travel and work in field environments as needed
