Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Registered Nurse candidates for an operating room travel assignment in Billings, Montana. This position involves working in a busy surgical environment, primarily focusing on orthopedic procedures, joint replacements, fractures, gynecology, robotics, urology, and other surgical specialties, with the need for versatile competency across multiple disciplines.
Opportunity Highlights
- Operating Room travel RN position in a community hospital setting
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts with call responsibilities
- Call: 2-3 12-hour shifts every six weeks
- EMR: Epic
- First Assist RNFA preferred
- Prior travel experience required
- Orthopedic experience essential, including total joints, fractures, and spine
- No block scheduling accommodated
Schedule Details
- Shift: 10-hour days, with call shifts scheduled as needed
- Call shifts: 2-3 every six weeks, 12 hours each
- Coverage: Ongoing basis
Clinical Scope
- Assist in orthopedic, gynecological, robotic, urology, general, ENT, spine, and other surgical procedures
- Provide first assist support as RNFA preferred
- Competent in managing all specialties listed above
- Work with surgical teams in a fast-paced OR environment
- Perform patient assessments, sterile techniques, and post-operative care within the OR setting
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and intraoperative orders
Candidate Requirements
- Montana license preferred; Montana accepted
- 2+ years of OR experience required
- BLS & ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Epic EMR experience necessary
- Prior travel OR experience required
- Competent across multiple surgical specialties listed
- No block scheduling requests will be accommodated

- RTO or schedule requests must be included at the time of application
