Pay:£85.44 -£101.58

Simply Education is working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school in Sleaford that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a September 2026 start. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a primary setting.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will provide in-class support across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2, helping to deliver engaging and accessible lessons. You will also provide targeted support to pupils who need additional guidance, including those with SEND or EAL needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with class teachers to support day-to-day learning activities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils who require additional help

• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource development

• Promote and model positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, productive environment

• Support children's emotional, social, and academic progress

• Liaise with teaching staff

• Uphold the school's safeguarding policies and practices

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working in a primary school (paid or voluntary)

• A patient, caring, and proactive approach

• Confidence in supporting children with a range of needs, including SEN

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
