Responsibilities include: ensuring the recruitment of study participants for clinical trials; maintaining and managing participant files and archives; maintaining the central participant register and the website; collaborating with the study planning team, including assessing recruitment opportunities and probabilities within the study planning process; preparing participant and center documents, e.g., supporting the preparation of participant and center documentation for submission to the ethics committee; and statistically analyzing relevant aspects of clinical trials, e.g., participant and recruitment statistics, including referral sources, etc.
  • Completed training in a commercial or scientific field, e.g. as a project assistant or study operation staff, preferably with several years of professional experience in the field of clinical trials.
  • Sound knowledge of local regulations, GCP and good documentation practices, the relevant SOPs and guidelines.
  • Safe handling of PCs and electronic applications, especially MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Fluent German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Friendliness and enjoyment of interacting with people, and excellent communication skills when dealing with test subjects.
  • A strong ability for collegial, effective, efficient and, in particular, needs-based communication and collaboration.
  • Independent, meticulous and structured work style with excellent time management, flexibility and agility.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional full-day shifts and shifts outside the 5-day week.
