Our Latest Solution – Backup with BackBox
After launching several new managed services in 2025 the team reflected on the motions that any IT team would go through in the event of a disaster impacting their business. While a lot of time and effort always goes into the protection of the servers and data there’s often little reflection given to the network environment.
Where it has been considered, the network management functions are often operated from and stored on the same infrastructure as the servers and data. This can lead to a chicken vs egg scenario where recovering the data is dependant on the network which is dependent the data…
To address this, the team has launched the Assured Backup with Backbox solution. This provides the protection and off-site replication of network device configurations so that they can be instantly recovered independently of any server infrastructure.
This means if the disaster IS a network device failure the recovery might not even be a full DR invocation.
