Full Stack Developer

Full Stack Developer required with React ,Node.js and Python experience required to join a leading client based in Brussels.

2 days per week onsite

Fluent in Dutch or French

600 Euros pd

Technical stack

Frontend UI: React
Frontend API (“Backend for Frontend”): Node.js + Koa.js
Backend services: Python + FastAPI (+ Pydantic)
Cloud: Azure, AKS, Azure DevOps
Mandatory – Frontend

Experience building front-ends with React

Frontend testing:

Unit testing using Vitest
End-to-end testing using Playwright
Mandatory – Backend

Experience designing and building REST APIs.

Hands-on experience with both of the following:

Node.js + Koa.js (Frontend API / BFF layer).
Python + FastAPI + Pydantic (backend services).
Comfortable working in both JavaScript/TypeScript and Python in the same project and switching between them as needed.

Able to maintain a Backend for Frontend (BFF) layer:

Handling authentication/authorization,
Calling downstream FastAPI/back-end services,
Unit/integration testing (e.g. pytest for Python).

Databases: basic experience with SQL databases and schema design.

Must-have – Cloud (Azure / DevOps)

Container-based deployment: building Docker images and deploying to AKS.
CI/CD: setting up basic pipelines in Azure DevOps .
Kubernetes: basic knowledge; able to check pods/logs and do simple troubleshooting.
Nice-to-have – AI skills

Experience with Azure AI Services (Document Intelligence, Azure ML, Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Foundry).
Experience with chatbots / LLM-based customer-facing applications.
Soft skills

Able to demo features to non-technical stakeholders and talk to business.
