You fill supply and long-term bookings, manage permanent vacancies, and grow accounts. You build strong relationships with schools. You deliver staffing fast, safely, and consistently. Education recruitment is high volume, safeguarding-led, and unforgiving if your data is messy.<br> <br><ul><li>Warm desk, hit the ground running means</li><li>You take over existing school accounts with regular requirements.</li><li>You inherit active pipelines and current candidates.</li><li>You focus on service, fill-rate, and growth, rather than spending months begging for your first vacancy.</li></ul> <br><strong>What you will do</strong><br> Client management and school relationships<br><ul><li>Manage day-to-day staffing requirements for your schools, including short notice cover and planned absences.</li><li>Take detailed job briefs from schools, confirm expectations, and agree timescales.</li><li>Build trust through regular check-ins and school visits, then turn service into repeat bookings and exclusivity.</li></ul> <br>Filling bookings and managing the pipeline<br><ul><li>Match teachers, cover supervisors, TAs, and SEN staff to roles based on experience, location, and suitability.</li><li>Book candidates, confirm arrival details, and handle last-minute changes without melting down.</li><li>Maintain a forward pipeline for known needs, exams, maternity cover, interventions, and long-term roles.</li></ul> <br>Candidate management and delivery<br><ul><li>Interview and register candidates, assess classroom ability, and set expectations on standards and conduct.</li><li>Coach candidates through placements, performance feedback, and school-specific requirements.</li><li>Keep candidates warm with consistent contact so you reduce dropouts and protect fill rates.</li></ul> <br>Compliance and safeguarding<br><ul><li>Oversee compliance for every placement, including right to work checks, DBS status, references, and full vetting records.</li><li>Ensure candidates meet education safeguarding expectations before they set foot in a school.</li><li>Keep documentation and audit trails clean, because schools and audits do not care about excuses.</li></ul> <br>Business development and desk growth<br><ul><li>Grow existing accounts through service, upsell, and expanding into new departments, key stages, and sites.</li><li>Identify new schools to target, make sales calls, and win new requirements to increase market share.</li><li>Negotiate rates and margins in line with desk targets and market conditions.</li></ul> <br>Data and process<br><ul><li>Use the CRM properly.
