The school delivers an ambitious and well‑planned curriculum, with a strong emphasis on re‑engaging learners, providing personalised pathways, and embedding therapeutic, trauma‑informed practice throughout the school day.  The setting follows a mainstream-style curriculum adapted for SEMH and ASD needs, enabling students to rediscover the joy of learning while developing confidence, resilience, and key life skills.  The Role We are looking for an inspiring IT Teacher (ICT/Computer Science) to join the team from the Summer Term, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. In this role, you will: Deliver engaging, accessible IT/ICT lessons at KS2–KS4, tailored to individual needs. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including pastoral, therapy, and behavioural support staff. Contribute to a calm, consistent environment built on positive relationships and structure. Support young people with SEMH needs through clear routines, personalised communication, and restorative approaches. This role is ideal for a teacher confident in adapting content, using innovative digital tools, and applying relationship‑based, trauma‑informed practice—reflective of the school’s SEMH ethos. About You We would love to hear from you if you are: A qualified IT/ICT/Computer Science Teacher (QTS or QTLS). Experienced or confident working with SEMH, ASD, or complex needs. Skilled in delivering a curriculum that blends structure with creativity. A reflective practitioner with resilience, warmth, and a growth mindset.
