<p data-start="65" data-end="203">Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well respected consultancy, in their search for a Town Planner to join their growing team in Preston.</p>
<p data-start="205" data-end="570">This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected and forward-thinking consultancy working across a varied portfolio of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The successful Town Planner will play a key role in supporting clients through the planning process while contributing to the delivery of high-quality planning solutions.</p>
<p data-start="572" data-end="584"><strong data-start="572" data-end="584">The Role</strong></p>
<p data-start="586" data-end="770">As a Town Planner, you will work closely with senior members of the team to deliver a wide range of planning projects, from initial feasibility through to submission and determination.</p>
<p data-start="772" data-end="971">You will act as a key point of contact for clients, providing clear and practical planning advice while supporting the preparation and management of planning applications across a variety of sectors.</p>
<p data-start="973" data-end="997"><strong data-start="973" data-end="997">Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p data-start="999" data-end="1070">Preparing and supporting a range of planning applications and appeals</p>
<p data-start="1072" data-end="1138">Undertaking site appraisals and planning feasibility assessments</p>
<p data-start="1140" data-end="1200">Preparing planning statements and supporting documentation</p>
<p data-start="1202" data-end="1269">Providing planning advice to clients across a variety of projects</p>
<p data-start="1271" data-end="1334">Liaising with Local Planning Authorities and key stakeholders</p>
<p data-start="1336" data-end="1388">Supporting senior team members in project delivery</p>
<p data-start="1390" data-end="1448">Attending site visits and client meetings where required</p>
<p data-start="1450" data-end="1476"><strong data-start="1450" data-end="1476">Candidate Requirements</strong></p>
<p data-start="1478" data-end="1543">RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or a related discipline</p>
<p data-start="1545" data-end="1618">Experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment</p>
<p data-start="1620" data-end="1678">Good understanding of UK planning policy and legislation</p>
<p data-start="1680" data-end="1728">Strong written and verbal communication skills</p>
<p data-start="1730" data-end="1787">Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail</p>
<p data-start="1789" data-end="1829">A proactive and team-oriented approach</p>
