About the Role

INSTRUCTOR INTERVIEW PROCESS WHAT TO EXPECT Every site does things a little differently, but here’s what usually happens when you apply to become an Instructor at Go Ape. 1. One-to-One Interview You’ll be welcomed at the cabin and introduced to the team. Meet your interviewer for a relaxed chat about Go Ape, the role, and your experience. Expect questions about teamwork, communication, and keeping people safe while they have fun. It’s short and friendly — usually around 15 minutes — and we’ll get back to you quickly with an update. 2. Group Interview Meet other applicants and get a feel for the Go Ape vibe. You’ll start with a short introduction to the company and role. Then you’ll head outdoors for one of our adventure activities (yes, you’ll get a taste of the job!). Afterwards, you’ll have a short individual chat (5–10 minutes) to share your skills and experience. We’ll be in touch soon after to let you know the outcome. INCLUSIVE AND FAIR HIRING We’re proud to be a Level 1 Disability Confident Employer, with a Glassdoor Diversity & Inclusion score above the industry average. If you meet the minimum criteria, you’ll be offered an interview — regardless of your background, gender, age, or ability. When applications are high, we’ll prioritise candidates who best match the role requirements. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE Read the role description so you know what we’re looking for. Dress for the outdoors — you might be up in the trees! Bring your best energy — we’re all about teamwork, communication, and creating amazing experiences.
