Application Performance Monitoring and Support

We are seeking an Application Performance Monitoring and Support Manager to lead our support team and ensure top-tier service delivery. Responsibilities include managing incident processes, overseeing application monitoring, and collaborating with development teams. Ideal candidates will have a background in IT, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with monitoring tools and SQL

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the application support team, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
  • Oversee incident management processes, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system performance and availability.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployment of new features and updates.
  • Provide regular updates on system performance, incidents, and resolutions to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct capacity management processes and forecasting.
  • Conduct post‑mortem meetings and follow up on action items.
  • Leverage AI‑driven observability to detect anomalies, predict incidents, and automate root‑cause analysis.
  • Implement AI‑based alerting and noise reduction to improve signal‑to‑noise ratio in monitoring systems.
  • Use LLM‑based assistants to accelerate troubleshooting, log analysis, and knowledge retrieval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in application support, with a strong understanding of SDLC.
  • Proficiency in SQL, incident and change management, and familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Dynatrace.
  • ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Linux, UNIX, Windows, and databases (Oracle, MS SQL).
  • Experience with AI‑powered monitoring platforms (Datadog Watchdog, Dynatrace Davis, New Relic AI).
  • Understanding of machine‑learning concepts relevant to operations: anomaly detection, forecasting, pattern recognition.
  • Ability to evaluate and integrate LLM‑based tools into support workflows (incident summarization, RCA assistance, runbook automation).
  • Familiarity with AIOps frameworks and automated remediation pipelines.
