Job Description Commercial Mortgage Underwriter / Processor Location: Brooklyn, NY & Monsey, NY (Travel Required) Salary: $150K+ Commission A growing commercial mortgage team is seeking an experienced Underwriter / Processor to join their team and take ownership of commercial mortgage deals from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in commercial lending who understands the full deal process and can move transactions efficiently through underwriting, processing, and closing. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial mortgage lender, bank, with hands-on experience managing commercial mortgage transactions. Responsibilities: • Manage commercial mortgage deals from initial submission through closing • Review financials, analyze borrower information, and prepare underwriting packages • Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution • Identify issues, solve problems, and keep deals moving forward • Support and collaborate with a team of 5–6 professionals • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all required documentation • Assist with client communication and deal management throughout the process Qualifications: • Experience in commercial mortgage underwriting, processing, or lending required • Background working at a commercial mortgage company, bank, or similar financial institution preferred • Strong understanding of the commercial mortgage lifecycle • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Self-driven with the ability to take ownership of deals Compensation: Highly competitive commission-based opportunity with earning potential of $150K+ and top performers earning $250K+.
