Project Manager

Position Title: Project Manager Position Description: Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract Project Manager opportunity. Job Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple engineering projects concurrently, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality objectives are met. Drive product development activities from concept through design, validation, and production release. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and suppliers. Develop and maintain detailed project plans using MS Project. Evaluate materials and components to ensure optimal performance, cost, and compliance. Oversee design reviews, testing activities, and risk assessments. Support regulatory compliance efforts, particularly for FDA-regulated medical devices (if applicable). Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership. Job Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred). Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical engineering role. At least 3 years of experience leading projects or cross-functional initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Experience with MS Project or equivalent project management tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Job Details: Job Type: Contract Location: Kirkland, WA. Pay Rate Range: $50-65/hr. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
