Science Teacher – Brighton
Full-Time | Long-Term or Permanent | Immediate Start Available
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a welcoming and forward‑thinking secondary school in Brighton. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
This role is suitable for a qualified teacher (QTS) or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education and inspiring young learners.
The Role:
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available depending on experience)
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Assessing, marking, and tracking pupil progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with the science department and wider school team
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT
Have strong subject knowledge in science
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Be committed, reliable, and motivated
Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff
Hold a current enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
