(PK9319)</strong></p><p><strong>PRODUCTION MANAGER - CORRUGATED PACKAGING</strong></p><p><strong>COMMUTABLE FROM NORTH WALES / CHESHIRE</strong></p><p><strong>SALARY UP TO £55K</strong></p><p><strong>HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 8AM TILL 4.30PM - Candidate is required to work outside of these hours at times to meet the needs of the business</strong></p><p>Our client is a well-established independent sheet plant specialising in bespoke conventional corrugated packaging solutions, including Shelf Ready Packaging (SRP) and Retail Ready Packaging (RRP). Supplying a diverse range of market sectors, including the food industry, they have built a strong reputation for quality, service and flexibility.</p><p>They are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their successful and growing corrugated packaging manufacturing operation. This hands-on leadership role will be responsible for overseeing a six-line production facility, ensuring production targets, quality standards and operational efficiencies are consistently met.</p><p style="text-align: center;"><em>The successful candidate will play a key role in production planning, machine utilisation, team leadership, and continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.</em></p><p style="text-align: center;"><em><strong>CORRUGATED PACKAGING EXPERIENCE IS DESIRABLE HOWEVER NOT ESSENTIAL</strong></em></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the daily management of a six-line corrugated packaging production facility</li><li>Plan and coordinate machine schedules to maximise productivity and efficiency</li><li>Ensure production targets, quality standards and customer delivery requirements are met</li><li>Lead, motivate and develop production teams to maintain high performance levels</li><li>Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Work closely with planning, sales, and warehouse functions to ensure smooth workflow</li><li>Manage labour resources effectively and support workforce development</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures</li><li>Identify and resolve production issues quickly to minimise downtime</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous management experience within the corrugated packaging industry is ideal but not essential</li><li>Experience managing multiple production lines and production planning activities</li><li>Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to engage and develop teams</li><li>Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities</li><li>Results-driven with a focus on quality, efficiency and customer service</li><li>Flexible approach to working hours when business needs require additional support</li><li><strong>Willing to have a f<em>lexible approach to working hours when business needs require additional support</em></strong></li></ul>
